Applications submitted by the department for international grants, projects and project activities: 1) А grant project named “Trends and Innovations in Political Science and Practice: Experience of V4 Countries for Ukraine” within the International Visegrad Fund’s “Visegrad+ Grant” at NGO “Center for Political Studies” in Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. Implementation period – 2022–2023. Coordinator – prof. Vitaliy Lytvyn.
Series of international scientific conferences repeatedly organized by the department: 1) A Series of International Scientific Conferences of the Department of Political Science “Political Parties and Elections: Ukrainian and World Practices” (in memory of Yuriy Shveda). Beginning and frequency – since 2016 and annually in the Fall.

In November – December 2021, students of culturology, members of the Scientific Society of Cultural Experts “Gilea”, took part in the international cultural project “Bridge of Self-Knowledge”. Kristína Jakubovská (Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra, Slovakia) invited them to participate in the project. Students of culturology were investigating the problem of cultural identity and authenticity. The presentation of the video project and discussion took place On December 9, 2021.

Partnership agreement

In May 2017  an international research project was developed and implemented (Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (Department of Theory and History of Culture – Assistant. T.V. Vlasevych) with the University of Wroclaw (Institute of Cultural Studies – Prof. Piotr Ferenski)) on the topic: “Urban policy and its implementation on the examples of Lviv and Wroclaw. Identity issues, concepts of multiculturalism and practice ”. The aim of the research project: to conduct a comparative analysis of urban policies and related identity issues in Lviv, Ukraine and Wroclaw, Poland. Very similar promotional slogans of these cities serve as a starting point for the study, namely: “Wroclaw is a meeting place” and “Lviv is open to the world.” Polish and Ukrainian culturology students helped to implement the research project
