GUEST LECTURE BY PROFESSOR YEVGEN HOLOVAKHA

On October 30, 2025, at the invitation of the Faculty of Philosophy and the
Department of Sociology of the Faculty of History, a guest lecture was given by
renowned Ukrainian sociologist and psychologist, Director of the Institute of
Sociology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Corresponding
Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Professor Yevhen
Golovakha in the Mirror Hall of Lviv University. The event was attended by
students, PHD’s, professors, researchers, university staff, and
anyone interested in socio-political changes in contemporary Ukrainian society.

of Psychology Olena Kvas; Head of the Department of History of Philosophy,
Professor Andrii Dakhnii; Associate Professor of the Department of Political
Science Liubomyr Skochylas, PHDs, and students majoring in Political Science.

Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy Professor Anatoliy Romanyuk, on behalf
of the academic community of the Faculty of Philosophy, thanked Professor
Yevhen Golovakha for his insightful report on socio-political changes in
contemporary Ukrainian society, and expressed his hope for a high level of
cooperation between the Institute of Sociology of the National Academy of
Sciencesaz of Ukraine and the Faculty of Philosophy of Ivan Franko National
University of Lviv.
