Zoya Skrynnyk is the author of more than 150 scientific and 30 methodological publications in domestic and foreign scientific editions, co-author of 8 textbooks, 12 monographs, one of them alone, head and scientific redactor of the international team of the textbook “Ukrainian human in the European world: dimensions of identity”, which was recognized the best book of the 22nd International Publishers Forum 2015, co-author of the first textbook in Ukraine “Corporate Social Responsibility”, which was recognized as the best book of the 16th International Publishers Forum 2009.

Biography

Z. Skrynnyk was born on December 8, 1949 in the city of Klimov, Bryansk region of the Russian Federation in the family of an Air Force officer. In 1974 she graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy of Kyiv State T. Shevchenko University. Candidate of Philosophical Sciences since 1984. The academic title of Associate Professor of Philosophy was awarded in 1989. Doctor of Philosophy since 2007. The academic title of Professor of the Department of Social Disciplines was awarded in 2011. The main stages of pedagogical activity: since 1974 assistant, senior lecturer, associate professor of the Department of Philosophy and Political Science of Lviv State Agrarian University; since 2000 – the head of the Department of Social Sciences of the University of Banking, since 2016 Professor of the Department of Management and Social Security of this University; from September 2021 – Professor of Philosophy Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

Married, has an adult son and daughter.

Projects

  • In 2008 Z. Skrynnyk initiated the establishment of the Ukrainian Philosophical and Economic Scientific Society (as a partner organization within the Ukrainian Philosophical Foundation), during 2008 – 2021 she was its scientific secretary. Secretary of the Organizing Committee of the annual International Philosophical and Economic Readings “Philosophy of Financial Civilization: Human in the World of Money” in 2008 – 2020. Executive Secretary of the Editorial Board of twelve editions of scientific articles based on the readings.
  • In 2008 – 2013 carried research activity by order of the National Bank of Ukraine devoted to the topic “Evolution of money and their social nature in the XXI century” and “Optimization of social perception of money and monetary relations in the context of market transformation in Ukraine” (State Registration Number 0102U006050).
  • In 2018 – 2020 she was the head of the research topic “Humanitarian aspects of improving the social security system in Ukraine” (State Registration Number 0118U001259), as a result of which the textbook “Social Security in Ukraine” was prepared for publication and submitted in the University of Banking. 2020. – 599 p.
  • Member of the International Council of Experts of the Ivan Franko International Fund 2017 – 2021.
