Research interests:

religious studies, philosophy of religion, history of religious and philosophical thought in Ukraine.

Graduated from History Faculty of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (1972). Assistant (1975–79), Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor of Science atheism Department (1980-90), since 1991 Associate Professor of theory and Eastern culture at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

Author of about 200 scientific works, in particular Educational textbooks: Culture in terms from A to Z, Cultural alphabet (Lviv, 2006), Ukrainian and foreign culture and religious studies (Lviv, 2005), Culturology (2006, co-author); textbook Lectures on the history of world and national culture (Lviv, 1994, 2005, co-author), Cultural and Religious studies workshop (Lviv, 2011).
