Course description
The Bachelor’s Qualification Thesis is a mandatory independent academic research project in the specialty “052 Political Science”, completed as part of the educational program for the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education. The course is worth 4.5 ECTS credits (according to the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System).
The bachelor’s thesis is an independent, completed theoretical and methodological study on a selected issue. Completing a bachelor’s thesis involves acquiring and applying theoretical knowledge related to research methodology, as well as practical skills in organizing and conducting scientific research.
The assessment of the thesis takes into account the student’s ability and skills that clearly demonstrate the graduate’s theoretical and methodological qualification level and their capacity for independent work. These include the ability to:
- identify and formulate a scientific problem;
- justify its relevance;
- design and conduct research;
- analyze research results;
- formulate well-argued conclusions independently;
- generalize and systematize collected material;
- based on the results obtained, develop practical recommendations for professionals in the relevant field.
